A shared view of infrastructure and AI spend
Bring cloud platforms and AI providers into a common cost model, so a team does not have to reconcile each provider in isolation.
Cloud cost intelligence for technical teams
Mosaic turns cloud and AI costs into a clear operating signal for lean teams. Technical leads can see where spending is moving, understand what caused it, bring in the person who can act, and report the result in the currency the business runs on.
Join betaThe bill tells you that something happened after the fact. It does not tell you which service changed, whether it is unusual, who needs to look, or how the movement affects the budget. Spreadsheets are a little better. Enterprise FinOps tools are often too much.
Mosaic is being built to give a small team the cost context to make the next decision with confidence, without hiring a FinOps team to interpret it.
The aim is not to turn technical leads into finance analysts. It is to give them the trend context and ownership they need to make better technical decisions.
Track spend across the services and platforms your team relies on.
Compare a change with a baseline you control, then investigate it in context.
Send the service, amount, baseline, and deviation to Slack or email, so team leads can treat a cost change as an operational signal, not a finance escalation.
The Mosaic loop
Start with a read-only connection. For AWS, launch a CloudFormation stack and Mosaic verifies the role automatically. Pick the history you want to backfill, then let the data arrive.
Use one view for current spend, trends, platform detail, budgets, and active anomalies. Drill into the service, region, and time range behind a movement.
Set a budget threshold or anomaly sensitivity. Mosaic sends the context to Slack or email so the team lead closest to the infrastructure can investigate while there is still time to act.
As Mosaic grows with your team, it will move from explanation into shared cost trends, forecasting, allocation, recommendations, and unit economics. The goal is not more reporting. It is better engineering and business decisions.
The ecosystem Mosaic is building for
Mosaic is being built around the cloud and AI platforms that shape a technical team’s cost picture, so the next useful answer does not live in six different dashboards.
Connector coverage

The product we are building toward
Mosaic starts with the questions that matter this month. It is being built to keep answering the harder questions as your infrastructure, AI usage, and technical operations grow.
Bring cloud platforms and AI providers into a common cost model, so a team does not have to reconcile each provider in isolation.
Catch a change against a meaningful baseline, understand its budget impact, and see when the month is heading somewhere uncomfortable.
Give team leads a clear view of the trends behind the systems they own, so cloud cost becomes an input to technical operations rather than a report handed down after the fact.
Find avoidable waste, allocate shared costs, understand cost per customer, and give the business a view it can trust.
Cost visibility should not require handing over a permanent key or trusting a black box. Mosaic is designed to make the connection and the data path understandable from the first step.
AWS access uses a scoped, read-only IAM role. Mosaic cannot change your infrastructure.
Delete the AWS role and access is gone.
Choose sensitivity, baseline window, minimum excess, and service exclusions per connector.
Connection health names the actual permission or configuration problem, so your team knows what to fix.
Early access
Join the beta if you want to see Mosaic take shape with real cloud-cost questions. We are especially keen to hear from technical teams who want cost trends to become part of how they operate.
FAQ
Mosaic is built to help technical leads see the cost trends behind the systems they own, understand the cause of meaningful movement, and bring that context into the team’s operating rhythm. It is not a finance report handed to engineering after the fact.
At launch, Mosaic will use the read-only role to verify access and retrieve cost data. It will not store long-lived AWS credentials, and it will not be able to make changes to your AWS infrastructure. You will be able to revoke access by deleting the role.
A cloud provider may bill in USD while the company plans, reports, and measures margin in another currency. Mosaic keeps the original charge and reporting value together so the team can see both the provider bill and the business effect.
